Zachary Hinckson is currently an Education and Training Facilitator for the London-based charity Safer London. In this role he plans and delivers workshops with small groups of young people in a range of settings, addressing issues that directly affect them, such as crime, gangs and unhealthy relationships. He also delivers training to professionals, equipping them with the tools to support young people affected by these issues.
Zachary began his professional journey as a volunteer for City Year UK at a primary school in London. It was here that he discovered his passion for supporting young people.
Zachary has a degree in social work from the University of Greenwich and has experience of working with young people of all ages, supporting them in education as well as in social care environments.
This passion for supporting young people has been the key motivation for Zachary joining the City Year UK Board of Trustees.
