Goals for 2011/12

Our goals are to improve the academic performance of children and to help them grow as responsible and active citizens.

From January 2012 City Year London will be partnering with nine schools, including two new secondary schools in Tottenham and Brixton. Click on the links below to find out more about our work in schools.

Our first year

Last year our corps members spent 35,000 hours in academic classroom support. In total, 60 corps members served 2,000 children, delivering 65,000 hours of support. Our corps members ran before- and after-school clubs in each school throughout the year.
