With his passion and experience within the youth, education and schools sectors, he brings considerable strategic insight, energy and ambition at a pivotal moment for City Year UK. With his leadership, we are confident that Kevin will help us succeed in our collective ambition to help transform the lives of thousands of children and young people across the UK.”
Commenting on his new role, Kevin said: “I am attracted by the opportunity to help the most disadvantaged schools and support young people close the achievement gap in our education system, whilst also developing City Year’s youth volunteers as leaders and role models. In addition to growing the impact of the current programme, I look forward to leading advocacy work on the power of full-time youth social action.”
ThinkForward’s chair Charlie Green says: “Kevin has been responsible for building ThinkForward from what was a concept seven years ago into a national charity that has helped over 2,000 young people in the transition from school to work.
