We are not so different after all

TowerbrookCulturalExchange_2_ (1)A very special thanks to TowerBrook Capital Partners in London and New York City who hosted a global video ‘hang-out’ for pupils from Sebright Primary School (Hackney) and Patrick Henry and Manhattan Academy of Technology schools in New York City

The exchange was a unique opportunity to connect the children with peers in another country and to learn about school and city life elsewhere in the world. With the constant breaks to ‘Dab’ during the ‘hang-out’, there was more common ground than differences across both sites.

TowerbrookCulturalExchange_2_ (2)The event was also a first opportunity for pupils and City Year corps members to experience a corporate environment first hand, meet business leaders, and understand the very important role of strong business-community partnerships.

“TowerBrook has been privileged to support City Year on the local level and are thrilled to facilitate events like these which provide a bridge for the children on an international level.” Joseph Knoll, Managing Director

Many thanks to TowerBrook London and New York City and City Year Inc!
