In our 11th year, we are in more schools, with more volunteer mentors than ever before. However, the need we face has never been greater.
A message to our supporters
The school shutdown seems to have caused disproportionate learning losses for pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and young job seekers are being hit particularly hard by the crisis. With your support, we have been able to adjust our programme to take on these new challenges.
Our response
We have put an extra volunteer in each team, increasing the support we can give pupils, whilst helping more young adults gain the experience and employability skills they will need in a tough job market. We have introduced new social and emotional learning activities to strengthen the vital life skills that underpin all education. And, we are prepared to deliver the programme virtually from day one if required.
