Kevin Munday steps down as City Year UK CEO
We have some bittersweet news to share with you.
After seven incredible years with City Year UK, our CEO, Kevin Munday, will be stepping down at the end of this academic year to take on a new opportunity as the CEO of the KPMG Foundation.
Matthew Davies, Chair: “During his time with City Year UK, Kevin oversaw great organisational changes and improvements to our programme delivery and impact measurement, working tirelessly alongside staff to ensure that more children and young people achieve their full potential.
We are incredibly grateful to Kevin for his passion, commitment and dedication to our cause and the young people supported over the past seven years. We wish him the absolute best in all his future endeavours and look forward to seeing the impact he will continue to make in his new role.”
Kevin Munday added: “It has been the greatest privilege of my career to lead City Year UK and to work alongside such passionate and inspiring young people, staff and partners. Together, we have built something truly special — an organisation that demonstrates the power of a year of service, both developing young adults, and through their service, making a lasting difference in the lives of school children. As I step down, I do so with immense pride in all we’ve achieved so far and with deep confidence in the future of City Year UK and its mission.”
To ensure a smooth transition while we recruit a new CEO, Chandni Radia, currently our Director of Development and External Relations, will provide interim leadership as our Deputy CEO.
