DHL UK Foundation
DHL UK Foundation work to ensure that disadvantaged young people have access to the best possible education, develop essential life skills and the opportunity to secure meaningful and sustainable employment.
A supporter of City Year UK since 2016, working with us in London, Greater Manchester and the West Midlands, the partnership is built on a shared belief in the power of young people, the importance of access to a good education and equal opportunities for all.
DHL colleagues across the UK are supporting our City Year Mentors through a variety of activities, including taking part in our ‘bridge builder’ mentoring programme, helping to deliver mock interview days and professional skills workshops, and through our ‘learning from leaders’ sessions, where our young people get to hear from inspirational leaders from a variety of fields. All of these opportunities will help our volunteers successfully secure employment or progress to higher education after their year of service.
The support from DHL UK Foundation is greatly appreciated by City Year UK and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership together.
Through our partnership, we see the incredible impact City Year is making in schools. Their volunteers work tirelessly to support young people, developing into brilliant leaders and role models over the course of the programme. DHL colleagues are excited to continue supporting City Year.
